Features of the department

1.Campus equipped with state-of-the-art computer facilities

State-of-the-art learning facilities are essential to stay ahead of constantly evolving information technology. The Department of Social Information Studies has 350 computers in six classrooms which are available on a self-access basis in addition to the times they are used during classes. Many of these are high performance computers, which can process large amounts of data at a high speed. Scanners, color printers and digital video editing equipment are also available to support information technology education.

2.Learning English in various ways

We also focus on English education as a tool for international communication. The two-year curriculum offers 10 subjects for six months each. The students will learn English with different academic staff in a variety of ways in each subject. You will surely find a way that works for you to continue learning English.

3.The trust between academic staff and students nurtures the individuality of each student

We provide quality teaching that focuses on giving students opportunities to develop their individuality. Our seminars especially provide opportunities for detailed study and research on each major course in small groups of less than a dozen students. In “Office Hours”, the academic staff open up their laboratory rooms for students who want to consult them about campus life and studies in a friendly manner. The academic staff organization at the Department of Social Information Studies takes pride in developing and improving the teaching skills of its faculty.
